EFB Scholarship

efb studentsWe are pleased to announce that this year, with the support of the European Fund for the Balkans (EFB), we were able to offer 11 scholarships to the strongest selected applicants coming from Afghanistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Palestine, and Serbia, to participate in the 2016 International Summer School in Comparative Conflict Studies.

By offering the EFB Scholarship, we are able to provide a unique opportunity to students, civil society activists and professionals from various fields, coming both from the Balkans and other conflict and post-conflict countries, to join us in Belgrade and to learn, discuss and further explore their academic and professional interests by attending our week-long courses, as well as other additional educational activities that are organized as part of the Summer School.

In addition to giving our EFB scholars a unique and diverse learning environment, we also offer all Summer School student participants who have successfully completed their course requirements a transfer of 5 ECTS credits to their home institution.

Finally, recipients of the EFB Scholarship are invited to share reflections on their experience from the Summer School by writing a blog entry which we gladly host on our website and widely promote via CFCCS's social media.

We are very much looking forward to sharing the blog entry contributions from our 2016 EFB participants. Until then, we invite you to browse texts written by the 2015 Summer School EFB Scholarship participants by visiting the blog section on our website.
